About Sigiriya
Rising around 200 metres above the plains of the Cultural Triangle, Sigiriya’s 5th-century rock citadel is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The climb passes landscaped water gardens, famous frescoes and the giant Lion’s Paws before reaching the palace ruins on the summit.
