Itinerary

1. Days 1–3

   Sigiriya / Dambulla (2 nights)

   Sri Lanka's ancient cultural heartland: Sigiriya Rock Fortress, Dambulla Cave Temple and an optional wildlife safari in a nearby national park. Airport to Sigiriya approx. 4–5 hours.

2. Days 3–4

   Kandy (1 night)

   The cultural capital: Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic, Kandy Lake, city sightseeing and an optional cultural dance show. Approx. 2.5–3.5 hours from Sigiriya.

3. Days 4–5

   Nuwara Eliya (1 night)

   A hill town among tea estates: tea plantation and factory visit, Gregory Lake and scenic viewpoints. Approx. 2.5–3.5 hours from Kandy.

4. Days 5–6

   Ella (1 night)

   Scenic train ride from Nanu Oya (approx. 3–4 hours, subject to schedule), Nine Arch Bridge, Ella town and an optional Little Adam's Peak hike.

5. Days 6–7

   Yala / Tissamaharama (1 night)

   Wildlife country: optional afternoon jeep safari, birdwatching and a second safari the following morning. Approx. 2.5–3.5 hours from Ella.

6. Days 7–8

   Galle / South Coast (1 night)

   Galle Fort walking tour, beach relaxation, coastal sightseeing and optional water sports, before your airport transfer. Approx. 2.5–3.5 hours from Tissamaharama.
